“One Ordinary Day” that wasn’t ordinary at all!

There are no good or bad people here. They live by the justice that they seem is fitting.

After a long time, I decided to write for my blog page and this time I have come to express my amazement for the thrilling, chilling, and mind-blowing Korean drama “One Ordinary Day”.

I have been a fan of Korean dramas for a long time because of which I know that they are not just about love and romance and One Ordinary Day is a perfect example of it. It is a masterpiece drama that stars Kim Soo-Hyun (a legend himself) and Cha Seung-won who stole the heart of the viewers with his wonderful performance.

Now what made me so inspired to specifically write about this drama?

I have seen many other K-dramas that come with an electrifying plot such as Lawless Layer, Flower of Evil, Pinocchio, and While you were Sleeping, but one ordinary day has by far got the most heart touching story that will go a long way with its viewers.

Brief description of the plot (in my own words describing my understanding)

The 8-episode heart-wrenching drama is about an innocent guy who was supposed to go to a friend’s party but instead landed up with a sexy drug addict girl at her home. His short fantasy trip took him on a long way to hell making him a prime suspect in that girl’s murder case. The drama has crisply depicted the flaws in the criminal justice system and the egotistical side of high officials that blinds them to acknowledge the truth.

What more to say, well the drama is based on the true story that was first shown in the British Television Series named Criminal Justice. Being aware of the fact that all of it happened in a true scenario with an actual person breaks your heart more as the series of events that happened with Kim Hyun-soo (Protagonist) is something that no ordinary university kid would want to go through.

The ending did give justice to the main character but at the cost of his innocence.

The beauty of the entire show is its star cast that didn’t fail to give the viewers some goosebumps moments. You will cry with their struggles, feel excited on every court trial, and would show anger at all the injustice, all because of the characters who were crazily dedicated to their performance.

Also, I would like to extend my appreciation for its OST that comes at the starting and end of every episode and sets the right mood for the drama.

I have loved every moment of it and would personally recommend all my readers to watch it, especially the ones obsessed with law and justice.
